| Missing XP Desktop Taskbar

This past weekend, as I rebooted my computer, for some reason, the XP Desktop Taskbar went missing. Normally, I have Google Desktop and a Language toolbar loaded. Typically, they get pushed to the right-hand-side of my XP Taskbar, right next to the application tray.
In case anyone reading this that does not know what is the Taskbar, it's the toolbar, typically in the bottom of the screen. It has a list of all the active applications running in this session of Windows. It's the space next to the "Start" button, It's been around since the 95 days.
Like most people, I started with the problem of not knowing the name of what I am missing. This posts a great problem. If I don't know what it is that I am missing, I can't find help. I kept looking, and looking. Finally, I noticed that it's been under my nose all this time.
What I am missing is called "Taskbar."
After coming to this conclusion, it was easy. Simple search in just about any search engine will take you to Taskbar Repair Tool Plus! I downloaded the vbs, ran it, and presto! My taskbar is back! Thanks to Kelly Theriot for supplying this. Had I known this fix, I would not have to reinstall my dad's XP a few months ago. | |
